GDL is looking at areas of expansion that will not only complement its existing business but make it a pan-India player in the shipping logistics industry.

Future plans include:

• Continually innovate and adopt the best practices to improve our services and to stay ahead of the existing industry standards.

• Setting up or acquiring Inland Container Depots (ICD’s) at key locations in the country, which will have excellent rail and road connectivity to the major ports of India.

• Starting Joint-Ventures, setting up or acquiring Container Freight Stations (CFS`s) at key locations in the country close to key ports in India.

• Inland transportation, including door delivery of cargo and/ or containers. Port / Container Terminal management.Special warehousing, distribution, supply chain management and other value added services to multi-national companies.

• Business to Business e-commerce solutions in the Indian logistics area.
